Troy School District interview questions

I applied on Thursday , then received a phone call on Sunday Night to schedule an initial on-site interview. The initial interview was at the Board Office, with a hiring committee of around 5 to 6 people, who took turns asking prepared questions. Overall, the interview was positive and reflected my skills and experience. However, despite a positive interview and matching qualifications, I never received a follow up to notify that the position was filled, or anything else for that matter. It was a bit disappointing to be ghosted from one of the top school districts in the state.

It was a 8 round interview. Every step took about an hour. I was first a phone screen questions regarding position. Then a group interview with multiple principals and staff. For the third round they gave us Lucy material and asked us to create a lesson plan that we would teach to a sample class. My interview was over summer and they “borrowed” a class from the summer program. Then after that they had me come back to meet a specific teacher / principal for a panel interview. It was overall 8 separate trips to either the admin building or an elementary school in the district. Then they didn’t even give me an offer.
