Thomas Allen interview questions

It took a month for someone to reach out after I applied. I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and 3 weeks later they contacted me to come in-person for an interview. The in-person interview went well and it felt as if they enjoyed the conversation as well. At the end of the interview, I was told it would take a couple of weeks to decide given other applicants and scheduled PTO, totally understandable. That said, barely a week later I received a generic template rejection email from “Human Resources”. I was extremely disappointed that after the long drawn out process and the time I invested, I was not at least afforded a personal note from one of the people I interviewed with.
