I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at The Buckle (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Took 4 days, contacted through email and set up an appointment over the phone. Arrived about 15 mins early and was interviewed on the sales floor. This was my first interview, so I think my nerves flubbed it for me. I arrived a bit to early- someone else was being interviewed- but I didn't have to wait too long.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are 2-3 words that describe you? explain why those words represent you.
What could you bring to the sales floor immediately.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
