I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla
Interview
fairly straight forward: stress strain curve, sn curve, bolt in shear. Then some questions on my background and a question on how I would design an air suspension system.
The interviewer was encouraging but knew what he was talking about and would correct me if I was wrong.

Three part process, with a phone screen and take home. Talked with two engineers and hiring manager. Lots of physics questions and overview on projects done. Many steps and overall good experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (Texas City, TX)
Interview
Interview was fine. General design questions of SS curves and mechanics of materials. not hard. definitely know the basics and you will be fine also know general mechanical stuff for automotives

Started with 2 technical rounds. First one was basic MechE questions. Second round interviewer was in a hurry and not so open to listening your thought process. There were questions on electromechanical concepts as well
