Lot's of interaction to see if the role fit, as the role changed over the time of the interview process. Was very reassuring and involved.
Lots of 'How do you want to work?' 'What do you want to do in your role?'

I’m sorry, but I am not going to invest 4 hours MINIMUM to work on a design challenge to improve YOUR system. That’s basically free work. After I was asked that at Tend, I’ve been telling interviewers I won’t be doing challenges that are over 2hrs. They all laugh because no employer in their right mind would think that’s okay, except Tend. Exploiting people for free work.
