I answered this question confidently because I currently handle a $6 million budget and work with finance on a weekly basis planning and reforecasting. Unfortunately, the recruiter was concerned that I wouldn't be able to handle working on projects with much smaller budgets, which didn't make much sense to me. Less money devoted to a project means simpler budgets, making them easier, and you get to be more creative with the problem solving.
