I applied online. I interviewed at Teach for Canada
Interview
The first round was over Zoom and was 25 minutes which was fine. The next round was a full day (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) at their office consisting of 3 hours of interviews with 5 people, three hours of assignment work, a presentation and group interview. All candidates had to take the day off work, were not compensated, and they were doing this interview with at least 15 people. By the end of the interview I was so exhausted I was performing poorly, and they did not respect people's time. Overall really negative experience and terrible way to bring out the best in your candidates.

Question 1
How would you describe the most idea boss to employee relationship
I applied online. I interviewed at Teach for Canada in May 2019
Interview
The interview took place on Zoom videoconferencing, and lasted around 25 minutes. There were 10 long-listed candidates – 5 (?) of whom were presumably invited for an in-person interview (though I was not selected).
The interviewer had a set of four questions that focused on motivations for joining the organization, work culture fit, and a potential situation relevant to the position. Because the same questions seem to be given to every candidate, there were no questions specific to my resume. There were also no questions asked about previous experiences in a similar role or to give examples of how I was qualified for the position, as most interviews have. The interview was definitely primarily about personality and likability.
Overall, the experience was fine. I appreciated that they were quick in getting back to me, and that they contacted all long-listed applicants not just those selected for a second interview. It wasn't a good fit for me, but if you are young and just out of undergrad I think it could be a fun place to work!

Question 1
What was the last thing that you learned professionally?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teach for Canada (Toronto, ON) in May 2014
Interview
Excellent interview process with a good mix of personal and professional questions. Was not overly challenging, but definitely required preparation and the ability to logically connect experience with outcome. Questions were a mix of personal experience and professional experience, and really focused on whether the candidate would be a good fit for the culture and goals of the organization.
