1 face to face interview with the Client Success Executive
I am still heartbroken about not being able to get an offer. It sounded like a good place to work for and the job seemed very interesting. However, the way they response to applicants were very disappointing.
The HR and the hiring manager were very friendly. The HR screen call was very simple and the call with the hiring manager was pretty casual. They were interested in knowing why SugarCRM and the motivation why I applied for this role. The face to face interview was conducted in their office with a Client Sucess Manager (as there was no TAM team in Sydney). I thought the interview went ok as the questions were not difficult and the interviewer was very friendly. Before I left the interview, the interviewer was asking my availability for the following 2 weeks for another face to face interview.
However, process towards to the end was not pleasant. I emailed the HR twice to ask what the expected time frame for round 4 would be. HR did not bother to reply. Then I emailed the hiring manager to inquire an update 1 week after my face to face interview, the hiring manager did not reply either. All I can do at that stage was to assume that they did not wish to proceed with my application, which was fine. But not even sending out a standard rejection email and just ignoring me completely is rather rude.
