The interview process consisted of multiple rounds with members of the leadership team and included a significant take-home assignment that required substantial preparation outside of normal working hours. The conversations themselves were generally engaging, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the company, team, and role.
My experience became less positive in the final stages of the process. After completing the assignment and preparing for a scheduled final-round interview, I was informed on extremely short notice that the interview would not take place because a hiring decision had already been made. While I understand that companies must make hiring decisions in their best interest, the communication and coordination surrounding the final stage of the process left room for improvement.
Overall, I found the interview process thorough and challenging, but the candidate experience at the conclusion of the process detracted from an otherwise positive impression.
