      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Steer in Aug 2024

      Interview

The whole process of getting a first interview took about 2 weeks. The first interaction/interview was 1h long with a US recruiter and a Senior Consultant in the UK. The interview itself was weird, there were a few "normal questions" but apart from that you could tell they hadn't read the CV or cover letter. The questions were super specific to the industry, in a way that does not make sense seeing as it is a general role (graduate role) where there would be 1 year of training.. Felt like they were looking for someone with years of experience. I was told I was going to hear back by the following monday at the latest (few days after the interview) but instead have been ghosting me for the past week and a half. I have emailed twice asking for an update, and no responses.
