The initial interview was conducted by one of the engineering managers because HR was not available.
He was reading from a script with a monotonous disinterested tone. You could clearly tell that this developer would have rather be coding than conducting HR interviews.
I even asked what excites him about working in Statsbomb and he hit me with a boring generic answer. He was just disinterested and a bit rude.
I'm glad I wasn't given an offer because I have declined to work with this man anyway. Too disrespectful.
