Interview
The overall interview process took about a month and a half.
It started out great with the recruiter, we had really good conversation and was moved onto the next round within a week. I was told that Stateside moves quickly so it wouldn’t take long for decisions to be made.
The second interview was more of a quick conversation with the person who be my potential boss which already working in the industry I knew of fairly well. I was told in the interview I was actually over qualified for the position. But regardless this was about a 15 minute conversation. Next, was an interview with the RSM which was about a week later, which also went pretty well I thought. A few technology issues as what happens occasionally with Zoom.
The fourth and final interview, again was fine. Usual interview questions. I was told they would have a decision made within a week.
It has now been three weeks and I haven’t heard anything back. I had reached out via email to HR and to a recruiter and still nothing. Although the job posting is still on job boards on line. Just feel super disrespected after how much time I’ve spent and having to take time out of my work day for these four interviews to not even get a response back or an email saying they decided to go with someone else.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about industry experience, asked about ongoing relationships. They asked how you handle working with difficult accounts and what your selling strategy is.

Interview
My interview process started off great with the HR Director. We had some great conversation and I was quickly moved to the next round.
So in the next round, I was told to dress professional, do some prep work, I was fairly excited about speaking with a potential new boss. I have more than the recommended amount of experience for the role, I was pretty excited to get into the interview.
However, my potential future boss was late, dressed in a t-shirt, and barely even looked at the screen (Zoom Call) while I was interviewing. Constantly apologizing for a distraction whether it was the dog or children. Typing non-stop while "listening" to me. I've never had a interview quite like it.
I reached back out after several days and 30 mins later got an automated message they had moved on. Seemed like the person was in over their head.

Interview
Not bad, but long.
This company is HOT and they know it. Be prepared to be strung along for 2 months, but it could be worth it in the end. Started out with an interview with the Director of Recruitment, she told me all about the company and then the typical “tell me about yourself” and “how do you sell” questions. At the end she told me it would be a painless interview process… two months into the later I have now come to realize what she meant by this. It was a SIMPLE process but not FAST, everyone was amazing. Second interview with with the VP of Sales, talked about my background and the position in more detail. The first 2 are extremely personable and easy to get along with. Then the final interview was with the Owner and CEO. They are much more reserved and analytical, but that is to be expected at their level. Overall it was a positive experience and I’m excited to get started.
