Standard Office Systems interview questions

I had an interview with the company in October 2023 for a Helpdesk Support Tier 3. I am originally from another country. I have been living in the USA for 10 years and have a college degree from the USA. They told me that their customers would not like to hear an accent over the phone. I noticed they don't have people with an accent working for helpdesk support. They didn't hire me.
