Email question sent asking for solutions to fix an online video app. You submit solutions, and possible problems. I also went a bit above and beyond by including feasibility for each item after the answered question. After that phase interviewed with the VP of Product Management.
- "The egg drop question" except he used blocks instead of eggs. You have 2 blocks and a 100 floor tower. If you drop a block and it breaks you cannot use that block anymore. How can you find the highest possible floor to drop from where the block won't break?

Imagine having to create a presentation prior to an interview with the hiring manager(generally a final stage task), submitting a 15 slide pitch deck....Then receiving a confirmation 2 days later of the assignment submission. I sit here 3 weeks later unaware whether I'm a running candidate or not. Quite frankly having interviewed at top tier companies, reaching final stages at all, I've never been treated so poorly by any company ever. I wish I had questions to share, however my "assignment" is still be assessed 3 weeks later prior to an actual interview.

1. Received an e-mail from the hiring manager to complete a take-home assignment on launching a new streaming platform. 2. Next round was a panel that focused on past experiences and interests for the company. 3. Another panel with 2 PMs about a case test creating a tracking page with various hypothetical APIs 4. Didn't move on to the final round with leadership, but everyone I met seemed extremely interested in my career and had a lot of great answers to culture questions
- (Take-Home Assignment) Create product and launch details of a new streaming platform.
- Tell me about a cross-functional project you worked on. What was your role, and what was the project?
- Create a tracking page using the following APIs. How much do you think it would cost to develop in 1 year?

10 Total Interviews. Got to the end, just for them to tell me that they are putting me on hold to take other interviews with people who just applied. Wish there was a way to get my money back

I have a phone interview first with the recruiter and then had an interview with one of the directors. I was denied the position and emailed the recruiter for additional feedback for the future however they never responded back.
- Tell me about yourself. Tell me about a time you had to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?

I interviewed for a product manager position here about six years ago. The interview included some Google-esque mathematical logic questions that I wasn’t very good at solving on the spot. I felt that they weren’t very indicative of success in the position, and I ended up at a smaller company where I ended up in a C-level role and have ideated/designed several successful eCommerce and SAAS products. I don’t knock the interviewer because it’s extremely hard to vet candidates and my background would’ve made me a gamble. However, I did think that the mathematical logic question was a bit absurd as far as asking it on the spot.
- Suppose that we wish to know which stories in a 100-story building are safe to drop eggs from, and which will cause the eggs to break on landing. What strategy should be used to drop eggs such that total number of drops in worst case is minimized and we find the required floor. We may make a few assumptions: An egg that survives a fall can be used again. A broken egg must be discarded. The effect of a fall is the same for all eggs. If an egg breaks when dropped, then it would break if dropped from a higher floor. If an egg survives a fall then it would survive a shorter fall.

1st round was with the recruiter after which he moved me to the next round with the hiring manager. I followed up multiple times for feedback or decision and never heard back from them. Interview is a two-way process - kindly respect the candidate's time and effort and try not ghosting them.
- Walk me through your data projects.

Was emailed directly by hiring manager, and set up a zoom call. Then ghosted after the call. Waste of time. First, why no recruiter in the process? I’ve never experienced that before. Secondly, no follow up communication.
- Trick questions about C# and adding integers to reals etc

After meeting with the Hiring Mgr twice all the way on up to the CMO was ghosted by HR - even after a couple of follow up attempts. Very unprofessional.

1st round interview with the hiring manager. It was an hour long and went well He then sent an excel test, which was easy as well 2nd round interview with another manager (this was technical) 3rd interview with another manager Last interview with the hiring manager again. An offer was presented at this point. But i received information my mother in law was diagnosed with cancer and needed to move in with us so we can take proper care. With this, i requested to work remotely after covid considering the treatment would be long term. They came back they wouldnt be able to offer that and so since i needed this job i worked it out to have a care taker and my husband stay home. Stamps came back again they would move forward because of my situation, even thought i had explained to them my plan.
