I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sports Direct in May 2016
Interview
I applied for this job hoping to get a job for the summer as I am a uni student. I had to return back home to attend the interview. The manager was very nice and was able to hold a decent interview. I believe the only thing that set me back from getting the job was that they wanted someone to start two weeks from the interview date (was not specified in the job application) and my uni exams started in those two weeks, which would mean me requesting three weeks off in total.
I interviewed at Sports Direct (Guildford, England)
Interview
It was easy. Was asked some question about myself then about some past work history and if I would be willing to work in a fast paced environment. I was given a question to sell subscriptions and add-ons in live scenario
Casual chat, simple, nothing difficult, straightforward questions, mainly wanting someone with good availability, good team player, flexible, enthusiastic, outgoing and a people's person.
Very relaxed, chilled and jokey overall experience.
