Plenty of parking! Receptionist was friendly. Although I'd sent in a resume, I was required to fill out a paper application while I waited to be seen. Have your reference info ready for this reason.
I was interviewed by the owner & director of this company. A lady was present for the first 5 minutes taking notes but excused herself for the rest of the interview. The interview began with the standard "tell us about yourself". Be prepared to be interrupted. You'll need to hit on your major attributes quickly!
I received a regurgitated version of their hiring ad and was told all the reasons this company is great to work for which I liked. The company seems to be growing and has a highly functional team approach to treatment that is a plus for clients and employees. It seems that CM staff are not micromanaged yet have an adequate amount of job support in the field. Documentation is done on paper. Nothing is submitted electronically.
Unfortunately, the pay rate is low even for this area. Applicants that have CM experience start at the same pay rate as someone that has no CM experience. Raises are given after 9 months IF you agree to work extra hours & commit to making extra billings. CM's start out as part-time employees while they're training. Training consists of some job shadowing. Caseloads are typically around 45 & client meetings are weekly.
This position was open due to company growth and needed to be filled immediately. Benefits were not discussed. A company vehicle is not provided. Territory to be covered is 2 counties. CM's employed by this company link clients to resources and services & do not transport them in their personal vehicle which is a plus!
Discussion during the meeting included the topic of loyalty to management and the company. Ethics, transparency and doing good work for the clients was also discussed. Overall, I like what the company stands for. The people I met here were friendly and welcoming.
