Interview
The first stage after application submission was the standard behavioural interview with the recruiter. Since this was a marketing analyst position, the recruiter asked if I had any experience with marketing analytics.

Question 1
How have you worked with marketing analytics previously?

Interview
The recruiter reached out after my application online. We had a 30 min call discussing my experience, the role, and the company. The recruiter seemed new to the company because they didn't know how to answer my questions about the company as a whole (e.g. company structure/mapping) and other questions I had.
On the salary, they shared the range for the role, I shared that my salary expectation was higher that the range they had but I was open for a discussion, and they immediately said something along the lines of "we have more qualified candidates than you who would fit our range" which I though was poor taste because... why are you talking to me then?
A few days later I get a call re: the salary and I'm told the range is now tighter (which means the roof was lower) and it was apparent that if didn't suit me I was "out". I was reminded once more that there were other more qualified candidates who were willing to accept this range. I thought it was a pretty cheap strategy,
Never heard back.

Interview
1) Interview with the Manager
2) Technical Assessment
3) Business Case
The process was quite straightforward and didn’t take much time. Overall, it was a positive experience. The role is seen as a data-focused Product Analyst, so a strong technical foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis is expected.
