I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2019
Interview
This was the best interview process I've ever gone through! It felt more like a series of conversations than a traditional interview. I felt like everyone with whom I interviewed--consultants, human resources, and managers--spoke with me and asked questions to purely get to know me and ensure that my existing (or desired) interests and skill sets aligned with the core values of Slalom's. It made the entire process more human and relaxed, and I felt like I was better able to not only tell my story but also assess what I could gain from joining the Slalom team.
This is so awesome! We love hearing feedback like this because we work really hard to create this type of experience when folks consider working at Slalom. Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective with us, and welcome to the team!
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
