My interview process was actually a really pleasant experience, from my first call with Michael to meeting with everyone else across 6/7 stages. Everyone I engaged with would always go above and beyond to find answers to my questions.
That's not to say it was easy, I met with most of the executive team across the process and there was a healthy amount of scrutiny from both sides.
For the the biggest plus was having a backstop like Michael who I could reach out to and validate with.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Skyflow
Interview
My interview process was so professionally done, from first email outreach to final offer. The recruiters were phenomenal to work with, and helped ensure I was prepared every step of the way. I never felt like I was walking in blind, nor like there were any tricks or gotchas.

Question 1
After a round of one on one interviews, my final interview was a presentation with a panel. This was the only take-home exercise of the interview process, and it was clearly instructed to timebox how much investment I put in the project. It felt respectful of my time and commitments, unlike at other organizations where take-home exercises took 10-20 hours of unpaid labor.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Skyflow in Nov 2024
Interview
A very comprehensive interview process started with the Head of Talent and continued with all department heads. Each interview was truly a conversation about the company, products, market, opportunities, and challenges. The Skyflow team came across as passionate, committed, very bright, and thoughtful about the kind of person they wanted on their team.
I enjoyed the conversations and learned a great deal about the culture and whether my skillset would add value to the company's journey.
As the last step in the process, I presented a 30-60 90-day plan that showed what I had learned about the company, products, challenges, and areas of focus. The team was fully engaged and asked on-point questions.
I have not received an offer, however, I don't think I'm out of the running yet. We will see.
