I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sherman + Reilly (Chattanooga, TN) in May 2018
Interview
Everyone was very friendly and personable. I was taken out to lunch with a couple of employees first and then met with different department supervisors afterwards. I was there for nearly 4 hours that day in total. I left feeling very good about my chances for an offer and even received an email from HR saying I was a top candidate and that she would appreciate me speaking to her before I accepted another offer. Since that time I have had no replies to emails or messages on LinkedIn from the HR rep that a month earlier was asking me to keep in touch. Very disappointing ending to something that appeared promising at first. I would suggest that in the future the HR department practice a little professionalism and at least send a simple reply to candidates that were deemed “top” at one point during the hiring process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions varied from the “job qualification” type to the “getting to know you” variety.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sherman + Reilly in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview was over the phone. I talked to one of the engineering managers and he was very personable and nice. He just wanted to get to know me and my previous experiences. Questions were about what I was looking to do for a career. I was offered a job about a week or so after the interview.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Sherman + Reilly (Chattanooga, TN) in Mar 2013
Interview
Interviewed with several department heads. A bit disorganized and everyone seemed to be pressed for time and preoccupied. Not very responsive for follow ups and the process seemed to drag out.
