I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sendwave
Interview
Fairly straight forward. Very, very easy to schedule an interview. It's all done on calendly which makes life so easy. In terms of the process itself. It was very simple and easy.
I had a very good impression of the company until I got to stage 2. I found the interviewer very cold and standoffish, and confrontational.
Even when I asked basic questions about the company, I was met with cold and dismissive undertones. It was to the point where I asked my 3rd question that I told the interviewer that I am no longer interested in the position. Such a shame, I really bought into the culture of the business but how people carry themselves in interviews is so important. It’s a telling sign of what you can expect working here.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sendwave in Feb 2022
Interview
It was actually very easy, but then they just ghosted me. They said to apply for other roles but then they completely auto-email rejected me. They seemed pretty dismissive and I don't really believe what they posted would have been the final offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sendwave (Austin, TX)
Interview
The process was fairly straightforward. Had a conversation with the recruiter and the second round was a case study. I submitted the case study and they came back with feedback that it was not elaborated enough. I feel that they are trying to get the work done with candidates. If you are not paying someone, I don't think you should expect them to be doing an 8-hour job. I found the process very odd.

Question 1
How do you plan on building a network once you are hired?
First, we appreciate that you highlighted you found the process fairly straightforward as we pride ourselves in providing a clear process for candidates.
Thanks too for interviewing with us and for your review of what didn’t go well for you. I can assure you that Sendwave avoids asking for work or output on an existing company product or challenge to avoid the perception of getting free labor out of a candidate. Our process provides guidelines on how much time investment the project/technical assessment will take a candidate for proper planning from their side, and advise that candidates shouldn’t spend more than 2/3 hours working on the exercises. *I apologize for any confusion* that had you working on the project/technical assessment for more than this guided time. We’ve shared this feedback with our team and will ensure the process for this role is updated. Best of luck with the rest of your search.
