Interview
I applied through USAJobs. I got a call later from two people who wanted to talk to me. It was very casual. I didn't have a strong business background so I just talked about my experience doing previous ethical work. They talked about how sometimes the ethical procedures are a bit ridiculous.

Interview
I completed an online application and specified my divisions of interest. Then, I was contacted to interview with a professional. Later, I was extended an offer with ten days to respond.
Takes a while to get to the interview as they do background check, but once there appears to go quickly (I heard back within a week, and I believe others had similar experiences)
The interview process was as expected, and the questions were pretty standard for the internship application process. I had several rounds of interviews over the phone, and all went very smoothly. The interviewers answered my questions very easily.

Questions were asked about interests in securities regulation and legal background
