I had a call with a Director of HR. We went over my experience. The job title is misleading. The position I was interviewing for was not a true head of talent acquisition role.
I advised her what my aspirations in life are. I mentioned leading and mentoring a group of recruiters. I advised her of my salary expectations.
I had to back track a bit on my compensation expectations as she did not describe the position from the beginning of our conversation. Now that's an inexperienced interviewer who is more of a paper pusher who leads the HR function at Sada.
I was basically ghosted by the Director thereafter. She mentioned she'd share my info with two other lesser tenured Technical Recruiters. She did mentioned she was very impressed with my twelve years of technology recruiting experience. It's been a whole two weeks since I was ghosted.
Even if they came back with an in person interview request I'd tell them a big fat NO!
