I interviewed at Ruth's Chris Steak House (Knoxville, TN) in Mar 2026
Interview
Submitted initial application through their online portal that was very brief. Didn't like how they only allow two options to fill in previous jobs/experience.
Either later that day or the next day they sent an email directing me to fill out a personality quiz that took 5-10 minutes and they shared the results after which was nice because I can't recall a time any other company did that.
Another day or two later I was sent texts from a scheduling AI app they have and I set up an in person interview. I arrived early for that and was greeted by the GM who initially interviewed me, and then one before the other, the sous chef and executive chef interviewed me. They were thorough all around and professional. I've never left a review like this before but they earned my respect and deserve the positive acknowledgement.

Interview
Easy questions asked in the interview. Seems like a good company to work for. The interviewer was late but I did not mind. There was quite a few personal questions asked, mostly about family/transportation but again, I did not mind.
