I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Rural/Metro Medical Services in Sept 2014
Interview
Something about this process seems off about many other places I have interviewed at. It took forever to hear back from them after my Skills Assessment, due to the position not getting approved in a timely manner.

I sent my resume online and was called within 8 hours to fill out an application. Interview was the next day with the manager and training coordinator. Mostly scenario based questions i.e. a man has fallen form a roof your partner assess while you hold manual c-spine what device is applied after palpating the head and neck (c-collar). Also list questions i.e. what are four things that could cause a stroke (high BP, A-fib, blood clot, recent surgery). They asked me about my responsibilities at previous jobs and then the general interview questions i.e. in the past how have you handled a conflict with a co-worker.
