I applied online. I interviewed at RoomRaccoon (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Feb 2026
Interview
3 step - last in person to meet the team. First with the recruiter the with the department heads, it got more challenging with each step but felt like a natural convo
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re delighted to hear that you found the process engaging, challenging, and conversational throughout.
While we’re sorry we weren’t able to move forward together this time, we truly appreciate the opportunity to get to know you and learn more about your experience.
We wish you every success in your career and hope you’ll keep an eye on future opportunities at RoomRaccoon. We’d be happy to hear from you again should the right role come along.
All the best for the future.
The interview was good but it felt like there wasa lot of instability in the department. Had multiple questions about being in a fast-paced environment, Multiple follows-ups and never got an answer
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re pleased to hear you had a positive interview experience overall, but we’re sorry to learn that you were left with unanswered questions following the process. Clear and timely communication is something we strive for, and it’s disappointing whenever a candidate feels we fell short of that standard.
As a growing company, we are transparent about operating in a fast-paced environment, but we also recognise the importance of providing candidates with the clarity they need to make informed decisions about their future.
We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving our candidate experience. We wish you every success in your career and hope our paths cross again in the future.
Bad experience. A company that is 7+ years old should really have some kind of a structure and process in place. Having a knowledgeable person who has basic understanding of HR, people and their experience would definitely help to create one.
So called screening call was more of an interview with a 2h notice given. It felt like a tick-box exercise and during the interview it was kind of a confirmed. They are looking to fill roles within 2 weeks, therefore, it’s more about finding a body to fill the role than looking for someone with passion, commitment or experience. It also felt that who ever requires a new team member doesn’t really have the authority to decided who they hire for their department and it’s the decision of the person who deals with the recruitment so that felt a bit strange; who ever manages the team should have some say in who they hire for their team. They might be looking to hire someone to streamline their recruitment processes but basics should be already there and ideally with a respect and consideration towards candidates and their time. The job adverts should also be written clear and with an inclusive language. If the role has a direct report it should also be mentioned in the advert. The way advert was written felt rushed, too. With the AI being around, there is no excuse to have a badly written advert. In general, Interviews should not be rushed and candidate should not made to feel like a tick box exercise.
And if compensation isn’t mentioned in the advert it should really be mentioned during the call. Everyone gets a new Mac (that was mentioned tho). Accountability and transparency aren’t their values and they are quite important for an organisation to be successful.
