Absolutely pathetic hiring process. They took 4 rounds over a period of 2 months. First 2 rounds were okay after which I was told that I will have to come for the final round to the Bosch office once it opens. However, few days later, the recruiter calls and says that there will be a US round before f2f round. The person who took this round seemed to be those Babu kind of guys who think that the person who is giving the interview is jobless and he is doing him a favour. Initially the guy stood me up for an hour waiting for him to call me up. Finally, I had to ask the recruiter to reschedule. Again, after rescheduling, he stood me up for 20 mins and after that does not even bother to apologise. He was telling that you are a Architect who has managed big teams so you will not be writing any code yourself. I was like I do write code but he kept saying he is not convinced. Then he says you have worked in protective environments in big companies and you will not be able to survive their startup. I was like when did Bosch became a startup? After around 10 days when I did not get any intimation from the recruiter, I called him up and he said he is still waiting to get the feedback from the interviewer. After a week he again calls that I need to take another managerial round before the f2f round. Now I lost it by this time. The recruitment process has to clarity about what they wanted and I told the recruiter that atleast let me know upfront about the no of rounds instead of scheduling round after round as per their wish. I made up my mind to not join this company now even if I get the offer as they can easily pull the offer back just a day before joining.
