I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ritual
Interview
I was told there were 2 interviews, 1 for culture and 1 with one of the co-founders. Got the same feedback after the first interview out of the 2 that someone has signed an offer so no point in proceeding. Looking at another interview it seems like that's the pattern here if they do not want to proceed.
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ritual (Bergen op Zoom)
Interview
Talked to them twice about two PM roles over the course of a year, both times they set me up with follow up interviews and then told me someone was hired after they set up the interview.
Hiring someone else isn’t an issue, the way they handle it was quite atrocious.
This time the interviewer didn’t even bother to show up to the meeting. Receiving the same BS excuses. I waited 30 minutes on the call before leaving.
This company by far is the most disorganized and having the worst management I have ever seen.
I was told they raised a large sum of money with no plan to handle the pivot for the pandemic during the first round of interviews.
During this second round their strategy was to ask REITs to give discounts for new merchants. The idea sounded ridiculous to me, wasn’t really a pivot to anything of value. But I respected the interview process.
If you want to waste your time, then spend it on this garage organization who’s already getting eaten by Uber. Their product has zero value prop or defensibility.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you hand to deal with conflict.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ritual (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
Had a phone interview followed by an onsite interview process. Onsite had 3 different interviews with different people from Operations, HR and Product. People were really enthusiastic about the product and helpful during the interviews. Though, I think they were in a hurry at the end but overall great experience. But best part was the recruiter feedback. After getting a rejection, I wanted to get more details and recruiter went one step ahead and gave me points where I could have done better. In this fast pace world, this is rare.
Huge shout out to Aaron.

Question 1
Few problem solving, behavioural, analytical, product and case studies. Ethically it would be wrong to write down the exact questions.
We appreciate the feedback. While I am happy to hear the experience overall was a good one, I'll make sure to work with the team to address how we budget time in and between interviews to avoid being rushed.
