I applied online. I interviewed at Rise at Seven (Manchester, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The process was thorough but engaging throughout.
I had to do a 3-stage interview process; this is industry standard for the level on seniority of the role.
First stage was a general pulse check with HR.
Second stage was with my line manager and was more about my previous experience and why I wanted to work for Rise.
Third was an engaging task. I was set the task to put together a 90 day plan using the role description and link this back to my experience. This was fun to do and engaging. It felt natural to present this back, not forced. I also loved doing this as now I have the role, we are actively implementing some of my ideas I pitched in the 3rd stage.
I was initially excited about interviewing with Rise at Seven, as the company works with well-known clients and offers interesting services. However, my interview experience was disappointing and raised several concerns.
Communication throughout the process felt disorganised, with long delays between responses and little follow-up after interviews. I also felt that reasonable adjustments to support candidates during the interview process were not adequately considered, which made participation more difficult than it needed to be.
During the interview itself, it didn’t always seem like my CV or experience had been fully reviewed beforehand, which made the conversation feel rushed and somewhat impersonal.
Overall, the experience came across as lacking professionalism and candidate care. Given the company’s reputation and client portfolio, this was surprising. I would encourage prospective candidates to read through all the reviews carefully before committing significant time to interviewing with this company.

Question 1
They don't really prepare questions for the interviews but they do ask you to do a task for the final interview.
