The first interview with the recruiter was pleasant. He was actively engaged in our conversation and showed enthusiasm. It was a great experience. I moved on to the next step, which was an interview with the sales manager.
From the beginning, the manager seemed like he didn't want to be there, and maybe he didn't, since he was also late to the interview. He seemed bored with the process, didn't ask many relevant questions, and after every reply I gave, he simply said "okay" and moved on to the next question. I found it really odd. After a few superficial questions about my background, he moved on to the pitch exercise. At the beginning, he asked if I had anything prepared, which I did. I gave my pitch, and then he gave me time to ask him questions.
The whole process took around 20 minutes. I immediately knew I wasn't moving forward in the process.
I wish the interview with the manager had been more pleasant, he didn't give me much room to showcase my skills. The interview itself wasn't difficult, just odd. I feel like the process ended on a very sour note. I'm still interested in Revolut, but this experience made me rethink it.
