I applied online. I interviewed at Rev (Sudbury, ON) in Jan 2020
Interview
You are provided a style guide and asked to watch a video. You then must transcribe a piece of audio. Great software which made transcribing nore effecient. Appreciated that editing the text was important as editing is my passion.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
