I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Randox Laboratories (Dunstable, England) in Aug 2022
Interview
Got called saying I'd been shortlisted for an interview, asked me for availability, very accommodating.
The interview itself went for about 20 minutes, with my would-be manager and 2 other people. I got asked just one technical question specific to the role, can´t remember it but I remember it was hard. After that, all the questions were about my CV, experience, strengths and weaknesses and finally, they asked me if I had any questions for them. I said no, and thanked them for the opportunity. The interview was over and I'm still waiting for a reply but I expect it to be quick. I don't know how it went, but the people were nice, helpful, nodded along smiled at something funny I said. I hope I get in cuz the interview just made me get in moreXD.

Strengths and Weaknesses
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Randox Laboratories in Dec 2023
Interview
Awful interviewer. It was only a 20 minute interview and instead of using this opportunity to ask a wide range of questions, he incessantly spent the vast majority of the interview asking about my career gap. I completely understand wanting to know about gaps and I expect + prepare for a question or two about it, but not to waste the vast majority of an interview on it. The manner in which he did this was unprofessional as well, using an incredibly interrogative tone and not so subtly inferring I don't want to work.
Also in a rare moment when he asked a question on a different topic (what do you gather will be involved in this role?), he said I was wrong when I mentioned lateral flow assays, even though the posted job description explicitly singles out operation of equipment called "IUL iPeak analyser", whose specific function is the reading of lateral flow assays. He barely let the other interviewer get a word in, which is a shame, as the rare times she was allowed to speak by him she actually asked relevant questions.
Unsurprisingly, I was unsuccessful in getting this job, but incredibly successful in managing to avoid working for such a vile human being. Not very often my feeling is that of relief when I see a job rejection, but this was one of those times.

Question 1
Explain your career gap, not much else other than that.
It was an easy interview with no difficult questions asked. Two people interviewing and they ask you to do a written skills test after the questioning which consisted of basic maths and recognising patterns etc
