I applied online. I interviewed at Propel Schools in Apr 2022
Interview
First round was round robin style questions in a group setting. Second round was teaching a demo lesson and then interview afterward. After that I found out I was hired into a "hiring pool" and then anyone with openings could hire from within that group.

Question 1
Describe what you would say when calling a parent to address a concern with a student's grade?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Propel Schools (West Mifflin, PA) in Mar 2025
Interview
Initial contact with the HR rep seemed positive and very reassuring. Then they stated that there would be a recorded-video interview. The information they gave me stated I would have up to 5 chances to record my answers, but they provided no preparatory information, and when starting the process, they only gave one chance to record per answer. As this was my first time ever applying for such a position, I was, needless to say, unprepared for what came next. Having no human contact, no one to interact with in the interview process seems glaringly stupid for a job that requires a high amount of contact with living beings, unless I was misinformed and they were attempting to hire someone to teach via recorded video.
