The interview process was performed via video conference, generally in one-to-one sessions that were efficient and informative. The process provided excellent insight into the company culture as well as future team members and leaders I would work with directly. The approachability and strength of interviewers was evident.

Scheduled phone interview with HR was cancelled 5 minutes before start time. Was asked if I could reschedule. I said sure, no problem. Rescheduled and phone call was 8 minutes late. HR rep was unprofessional. Spent the first part of the call complaining about how much work was on her plate and said if I needed a job, I could have some of her work. (What?!) I moved through to next round. Video interview with hiring manager. Went well. Was then asked to complete a scenario project estimated to take 4 hours to complete. Reviewing the scenario, I estimated it would take at least double this amount of time and was turned off by the overall scope of the ask. Too many red flags with the company and its hiring process. Decided to remove myself from the process.

The hiring and interview process took about a month. I had a 30 minute screening phone call with a recruiter. Then I had a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager. I wish it were longer so I could have asked questions. I was asked to complete an assessment and was given an extension through the weekend. Then I had a 45 minute interview with a direct report. I then asked for additional interviews with hiring manager and executive which gave me time to ask more questions. Overall it was a smooth and helpful interview process.
