I interviewed with Poshmark, and the process felt pretty unreasonable. They give you a heavy case study that looks like real work they need done. Mine was about global network and endpoint standardization, compliance, IAM design, rollout plans, and risk planning. This is the type of project a company would usually hand to a whole team, not a candidate with a three-day deadline.
They also asked for sample automation code and scripts inside the presentation. I’ve never seen an interview ask someone to write actual automation for a fake scenario. It felt like they were trying to get free work from candidates rather than evaluating skills fairly.
The manager has been there for many years and came from a consulting background. From the question style, it didn’t feel like she had much real management experience. Overall, the process felt like a waste of time and was disrespectful to candidates.
