Plusgrade interview questions

I recently interviewed with Plusgrade. The technical interview experience was positive, the developer interviewer was respectful, accommodating, and asked relevant questions that allowed me to showcase my QA and technical skills.However, the director-level interview felt uncomfortable and stressful after being rescheduled. I also felt that some of the questions focused too much on “Canadian experience” rather than overall skills and experience. The interaction made the environment feel less welcoming than expected. I believe interviews should focus on a candidate’s abilities, communication, and potential while maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere.

There were three steps to the process, technical skills review, soft skills review and a connection with the hiring Director. The process was very straight forward, the interviewers where polite/patient and the questions were reasonable. They were hard enough to expose skill gaps but not unreasonable for the role expectations. What I appreciated most of all was the fact that the entire process only took a couple weeks from when I first reached out to the recruiter to the completion of the interviews and getting an offer.
