I am semi-retired but have a gym rat for over 35 years. I am also a certified personal trainer and in great shape. I applied for this job which I thought would be a great transition. There were 3 openings. I FINALLY got an in-person interview and I thought it went well. The manager stated that he would let me know in a few days whether or not I got the job but based on the interview and my credentials, plus the fact that I was okay with the minimal pay - it was not about money - that I had the job. Over a week went by and I was ghosted. End of week I went to the gym and saw a new face (I am a regular there). It was a kid who looked like he had never seen the inside of a gym before.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would I accept $11 per hour? Was I flexible in my scheduling? Could I pass a drug screen and background test?
easy simple, questions do seem a little repetitive but they mean well a little unorganized you get a tour people are friendly, took about a week or even less if they’re desperate at time & need a new hire
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Planet Fitness (Texas City, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was Fast. The interviewer Asked about yourself, and to tell them 3 strenghts and weakness. They also asked about any hobbies and your availability for the Job. It was a good interview.
