Day 33- Notified next step for hiring manger Skype interview.
Day 40- Skype interview with hiring manager. #6
Day 42- notified on to on site at hq in palo alto.
Day 43- trying figure out dates that match interviewers schedule
Day 46- no response in two days. Emailed hr coordinator. Said executive assistants still working.
Day 47- email saying found date that worked due to my other two dates 1 week and three days out were unavailable. Email from hr coordinator, head recruiter, and travel coordinator with recommended itinerary.
Day 56- on-site interview palo alto (#7-10). Two of the interviewers had a conflict (one which was the hiring manager). Not as smoothly coordinated as the DC on-site interview went.
Day 59- No offer. No feedback.
Positives:
-Head recruiter after each gave feedback and possible questions for next interview.
-Everyone is very down to earth and transparent about the job.
-extremely intelligent and motivated
-flexible with travel
Improves: The process is very drawn out. Adding more interviews after each step without outlining total path forward in process doesn't allow for predictability and planning for the interview candidate. No constructive feedback offered to when asked to improve for future opportunities. Impression that six interviews before last on-site had little to no impact on the overall decision.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
Call with recruiter to discuss role was supposed to be informal conversation but recruiter seemed to ask more involved interview questions. Shared what next steps would be- hiring manager, onsite etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies
Interview
Bad experience. The process was unprofessional and dragged out. The recruiter seemed to have no sense of what the role was. They have a competly different title and description for the role internally, and I was told by an interviewer himself that the projects are often boring, contain a lot of admin work and no travel.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY)
Interview
Spoke with 3 people over the phone, two were TPMs. Had an on-site interview and spoke with 3 more TPMs. Finally, I flew to headquarters and spoke with 3 hiring managers.
