I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Pace University (New York, NY)
Interview
I had great conversations with the staff at Pace, a lot of questions about me transitioning from a different industry to higherED but it seemed like they were open to going outside the status go. My bigger issue was that it was a long process about 2-3 months. I had my final interview and immediately afterwards was asked for my references. A few weeks go by, my references haven’t been reached out to then I was sent the most generic “we went with another candidate.” No feedback, nothing, after two months, 1 virtual interview, 1 panel interview and 1 in person interview. After an in-person interview, candidates should receive in depth feedback, I find it shocking and unprofessional that Pace did not do that.

Interview
Very hard to solve, couldn't really get to the crux of it, but 3dp pass was one thing they encouraged a lot, and the interviewer was a pro in spelling out mistakes told by the manager to the boss, but jefe only know the spell
Interview process consisted of an initial Zoom interview followed by a presentation/performance task. Throughout the process, everyone I interacted with was professional, organized, and kind, and the experience during the interviews themselves was positive. However, communication after the final stage was extremely disappointing. I was told I would hear back within a week, but did not receive any update. After following up, I was told there were HR considerations and that I would be contacted soon. It has now been over a month with no communication at all, not even a rejection or timeline update. Given the level of time and preparation required, including taking time off work to participate in interviews and prepare performance tasks, the lack of follow-up is unprofessional and does not reflect respect for candidates. I hope in the future they are better able to respect candidates time and simply email a rejection where applicable.
