Disjointed, panel was changed without notice, asked to prepare material that wasn't covered. Questions not really relevant to the job spec, certainly an outlier in my career to date. No questions around controlling and delivering end to end technical or defence sector projects, most around technical aspects of AI tools (which were maybe 1-2 points out of the 15 or so on the spec). Discussions were to the point, definitely not rude but not welcoming either. The work and tool being developed sound very interesting, I will definitely follow their growth. Wish them all the best but glad to have withdrawn at this stage. Feels like they need more of a Product Manager based on my experience.

Interview involved a lot off talking by the co-founders relative to listening to candidate. Lots of emphasis about being a startup. Unclear direction or what the role entailed. Interviewers stated that they didn't have a clear budget for the role and so could not give guidance as to likely salary band. No feedback of contact 4 weeks later .ll.
