Long interview process that spanned over three months. Met with multiple people and felt unorganized at times. At one point I was rejected but contacted by a recruiter accidentally and restarted the interview process
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nilfisk (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2023
Interview
One phone, 2 in person. Pretty laid back interview. This role really requires the regional manager to like you in the interview process. They also want to know you will be okay pulling a trailer.

Interview
One of the most lengthy and absurd interview processes I’ve ever seen or head about. First I spoke with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, then another director of sales before arranging a meeting in person. In person interview took place at a hotel during the middle of the pandemic. It was about a 2 hour sit down with mostly standard questions about experience and qualifications. The interview went well and a few other random people from the company called me out of the blue to chat saying they were “just another part of the process”. I was then asked to go out in the field with some of their salespeople in territories multiple hours away from me. At first out of my own pocket but then they did ultimately reimburse. I complied with this although it included a visit to a hospital once again in the middle of the pandemic. After this they deliberated for a bit and then asked that I go meet with one of their VPs in person for an hour long meeting with more basic questions. After this was a personality test I was required to take, then several more phone calls and finally another in person meeting after which I was ultimately denied the role.
