I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at New York Life (Chicago, IL) in May 2013
Interview
First interview was to check on background, social circle, and depth of friendships. Second interview was to take phycology test to see how you handle interaction with new people and your completive drive. They look for you to name 200 contacts that you know intimately (could invite to a wedding.) This will be your call list for your first round of sales (warm market.)
