During the interview I was asked many questions about my desire to sell cars and why I would want to do such a thing. I was told how much money I should make and several managers described the nature of the work. They essentially sold me a sales job. There is a very high turn-over rate across the sales industry so the managers like words like "make a career of this" and "long term". Also, continuing to follow up and track down after your interview is great. The managers do a terrible job at calling prospective employers back, plus it shows that you have crucial job skills.
