The hiring process starts with a screening then you get a task to implement. After you have implemented the task, they will evaluate your code and take the next step. If you pass, they will contact you for an HR interview, a Technical interview, and finally, a full-time position.

It was a pretty standard Zoom interview. Interviewer asked lots of good questions, seemed genuinely interested and impressed by my experience and history. Was told flat out in the interview that I would be progressing to the next round. Didn't hear back again so I chased, was told the person who was doing the next interview was very busy and I would be scheduled in as soon as they could. Never heard from them again. Emailed and asked about the process, was told that they're not hiring for the role anymore. That's fine. I understand business is business and sometimes things happen unexpectedly, but was very unimpressed at the lack of communication. When candidates have taken the time out of their day to interview with you (and receive extremely positive feedback at that interview!) the polite and professional thing to do is just keep them informed even if things don't end up working out. Lots of red flags... and I would worry, as a freelancer, about working with them due to the lack of transparency and communication.

A little disorganised: the interview had to be rescheduled because the interviewer did not show up at the allotted time. Claimed it was due to technical issues but only after I emailed to ask what had happened, so I wonder whether they just forgot. The interview itself was short (20 mins) but conducted professionally. The interviewer was very personable and knowledgeable about the job. Most of the interview questions were based on specific experience I mentioned in my cover letter and in the interview itself - so not an interview where every candidate gets asked the same questions. Be sure to research the company and the digital education industry, because lots of questions related to these things too. I received an email under a week later telling me that they wouldn't be progressing my application. No feedback was offered aside from a generic explanation that they probably send to all candidates, along the lines of 'we liked your interview and application but decided to go with another candidate who was a better fit'. It seemed very impersonal and is certainly the briefest, vaguest interview feedback I've ever received. I think they must be interviewing a lot and have a high turn-over of candidates because the position I applied to has been open for a long time and is still accepting applicants. Overall, not a bad experience but there were a few red flags along the way that made me reconsider whether the company was right for me.

First was an interview with a recruiter. Then I was asked to create two work samples using their app and style conventions, and then, finally, there was an in person interview with team leader and project manager.

-First a technical test is sent which was average in terms of difficulty. -Then a 3 step interview with HR, technical interview, and manager. -The manager told me you will hear from us 2 weeks later, but two weeks went by, and never heard back.

Interesting interview with specific questions but the employment process is somewhat longer than average. The interviewer is experienced and friendly. The interview length is acceptable. But the technical interview is different which makes the employment process long
