I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moveworks (Mountain View, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
Easy process, but super difficult hiring bar. The interview questions indicated their level of machine learning and AI sophistication, as well as their technical roadmap. This team is solving for things we have yet to build or develop, and so the questions are related more to how you think and problem solve. The recruiting team is top notch and treats candidates very very well. They were very responsive and hands-on during the entire process.

Question 1
Machine Learning technical questions were challenging and indicative of their hiring bar. Many of my Facebook and Google colleagues who had applied previously could not pass their hiring bar.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Moveworks in Jul 2022
Interview
Call with recruiter, call with HM, and then a brutal onsite. Two-day onsite of back-to-back interviews, I think I spoke to 8 or 9 people in total. They regularly stepped on top of the breaks built into the onsite schedule so I barely had time to even get water. The technical questions weren't that difficult, there were just a lot of them. They then had multiple sell calls which felt like an additional interview obligation as I was negotiating my compensation. I really enjoy my team and role at Moveworks and am happy I accepted the job, but I hope they improve their interviewing process going forward
