Unfortunately, I never actually got to interview for the position. I scheduled one, but the recruiter never showed up for it. When I emailed them after waiting for 20 minutes to check in and see what had happened, I was told they were running late, and would need to reschedule the interview for the next morning. The next morning, the recruiter failed to show up again. Despite calling and emailing several times, I didn't receive a response from them for over a month, at which point I was told that another candidate had verbally accepted the offer when I was originally scheduled to interview. The recruiter did apologize, to their credit, but this experience showed me that something is clearly amiss with Mercury's recruiting process.
