Seemed like a quota interview. I was over qualified for the job running heavy equipment. Offered to work weekends and second shift. The manager said she had a bunch of interviews and it would come down to “availability” Well what she really meant was Menards needs to be your only priority. People can’t hop first to second shift at a moment’s notice. People have kids and other important responsibilities. Very disappointing, I even said my mother worked there and it was her favorite job she ever had. I didn’t even get a call back, just a short email saying we are pursuing other candidates.
