I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Maurices (West Bend, WI) in Sept 2009
Interview
I applied on paper, and I was called to interview a week later. At the interview, I met with the store manager and first assistant manager. I was asked about my skills, and why I believed I was a good fit for Maurices. The managers made it very clear that if I were to be hired, my voice and thoughts were going to be heard- they stressed how important communication was to the company.

Interview was good. Basic questions. A couple questions about style like what is my favorite fashion trend at the moment. Overall an average interview. Other questions were about customer service.
In person interview ~40 min, was an average interview with normal questions. Got an offer the day of through a phone call later that day. Overall average interview process, start with phone call and ended with offer over the phone.
