I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (East Peoria, IL) in Jul 2013
Interview
First interview with HR was pretty fast and casual. The HR manager was obviously a people-person and made the entire interview very comfortable. Second interview with an Assistant Store Manager was pretty much the same. After working here for a while, I am now sure it was the same because of the ASM who conducted the interview. Much like the HR Mgr, he is a people-person and very down to earth. I did not hear back from HR within the time frame I was told and when I called to check on the status the HR Mgr was nice and apologetic. The second time frame given to me was accurate and I received a job offer. It was around two weeks after my interviews. There were a couple of computer assessment tests taken between the interviews and the offers as well.

Question 1
The assessment test had quite a few subjective questions to determine your personality type or some such thing and they were asked more than once in different ways. Most likely developed by a psychologist, possibly by a computer program.
