      Interview

RUN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL. I was being hit by a recruiter and was hogged for 40 minutes for just a phone call but thats alright. She said she would allow someone to talk about technical questions that I had which she couldnt answer as she just the team. So the first call is phone screen ? No, Intro Call? No, I dunno what was that but she set up for yet another call with someone from the team. Man o Man, the other reviews were spot on. The interview is cold and boring. The dude is coldest dude, He was like the our environment is not exciting to work (when I asked about work culture). In this preliminary round which was supposed to last for 30 minutes dude was so annoying, its like he asked me 1> describe a project with strict deadline for like 5 straight time. I said no I dont have that as I am not into management and again he comes the same thing. After like 40 minutes, I am done with him, I got a call from my team ( I almost missed our team meeting for this ), so I said I got another 5 minutes before I have to head for a meeting and he was in non stopping mode and finally after 45 minutes we parted. After a day I received a mail that he cleared me off, so I have to do some online hackerrank test. I was alright with that even though I was in a middle of a lots of other things, I spend 2 hours at their hacker rank test. Hacker rank Test was pretty standard and I passed all test cases with no issues. Medium level questions. But bam today I received that I am not moving forward? For what? Passing all test questions? So DO NOT WASTE doing that test for this losers. I dont know any any other company where you will fail after passing online test. Level of retardedness And if you are one of these recruiters, do not waste candidates times Alright?

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are always looking at ways to improve our process and train our interviewers to provide a great candidate experience and paint a true picture of LiveRamp. Unfortunate to hear that you walked away from the phone conversations not excited about the opportunities here. Again - I appreciate the time taken and wish you the best of luck in your career search.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LiveRamp

      Interview

I wasn't going to write this out of fear of being blacklisted. But I really do feel like my interview experience was handled unfairly and unprofessionally. Recruiter reached out to me and we had a conversation about starting the interview process. Started getting some bad signals here as the recruiter seemed to be reading my resume for the first time, and seemed to know nothing about the role that I had applied for. He also constantly made subtle jabs about the city that I lived in. Told me he was happy to move me forward and that the next round would be a conversation / deep dive into my experiences with the hiring manager. He mentioned that it would not be technical and that I should just be ready to talk about my career history. He made it seem like this was another intro round where the eng manager could better evaluate if I'd be a good fit for the team. Next round comes and i'm immediately hit with a coding question and no deep dives of my career, which is what I had prepped for. I had not done any leetcode studying due to being occupied at work and believing what the recruiter had told me. Emailed the recruiter about the situation and asked if I could re-interview. He said he'll see what he can do. It's been about a week and at this point i'm just assuming he's not owning up to his mistake and decided to ghost me. Terrible candidate experience especially because I actually wanted to work here and enjoyed my session with the eng manager.
